How to enable file extensions in File Explorer

By default, the extensions of all Windows file types will not be enabled for display. Extensions of executable files .exe, configuration files .ini and batch files .bat will not be enabled, for example.

It is recommended that you enable file extensions, to avoid confusion with certain files present in game folders.

The option you need to change is in File Explorer. Here is an image illustrating what to change in each Windows.
